“Inspiring teens to be tomorrow’s leaders.”
Weekly lessons and activities for teens place a greater emphasis on personal development. Coaches will introduce real life problem solving opportunities and allow participants the time to explore and express their own philosophies, all while welcoming different perspectives. Classes meet once per week for five weeks with each class lasting 1.5 hours.
Rising Leaders Academy
The Rising Leaders Academy (July 11-15) exposes participants to the four main components of the First Tee experience: career exploration, post-secondary education exposure, community service, and of course, golf. Participants can register for one of two locations, Brentwood Golf Course or the Innovator’s Clubhouse at WGV.
Morgan Stanley Girls Internship
Thanks to Morgan Stanley, we are offering paid internships to a select number female participants and/or alumna. Interns will complete office admin work, assist with fundraising events, and coach at classes and camps. Application deadline is February 23rd and interviews will take place on Saturday, February 26th.
First Tee doesn’t just get teens on the course, it builds experiences that strengthen what they bring to everything they do. With the help of First Tee national corporate partners, experienced teen participants can apply to attend golf and leadership events across the country. These opportunities are life-changing experiences allowing them to meet new people, play some golf, and aspire for greatness.
