First Tee – North Florida offers a variety of special events throughout the year, each designed to ignite curiosity, build character, and enhance life skills. These enriching experiences encourage personal growth, teamwork, and the development of lifelong values.
Earl "Chip" Trefry Memorial Golf Tournament
Day: Sunday, September 14th
Time: 1:30pm shotgun start (12:00pm arrival)
Location: San Jose Country Club
Fee: Free
Details: Each First Tee participant will be paired with a group of adult golfers and play an 18-hole scramble. Food and drinks during the tournament and after play will be provided. Contact Coach Ron at [email protected] for registration information.
LPGA*USGA Girls Golf Board Game Party
Day: Sunday, September 20th
Time: 5:00 – 7:00pm
Location: Jacksonville Beach Golf Club
Fee: $5 per participant
Details: Girls should bring their favorite board game and plan to play golf games on our indoor simulator and putting green. Snacks will be provided.
Mayo Clinic SIM Center & CSX HQ Tour (Jax Beach Drop-off)
Date: Tuesday, October 14th
Time: 8:00am – 5:00pm
Location: Jacksonville Beach Golf Club
Fee: $10 per participant
Details: Participants will get an in-depth tour of the Mayo’s SIM Center and learn about healthcare industry careers followed by a tour of CSX HQ. Drop-off and pick up is at Jacksonville Beach Golf Club.

UNF Data Analytics: Golf Ball Test Lab
Date: Saturday, October 18th
Time: 9:00am – 2:00pm
Location: Jacksonville Beach Golf Club
Fee: $0
Details: Participants 12 years old and up will hit different brands of golf balls while a UNF analytics team collects data. Chick-fil-a lunch will be provided.
8th Annual Birdies & Boos presented by #LEGS
Date: Wednesday, October 29th
Time: 1:00pm shotgun start
Location: St. Johns Golf & Country Club
Fee: $0
Details: Participants will be paired with a group of four adults to play an 18-hole scramble. Everyone is encouraged to wear their Halloween costumes.
