Why Golf?

Experiences are our greatest teacher. First Tee believes in developing the ones that are just as fun as they are meaningful, where kids feel excited to grow, safe to fail, and better equipped for whatever comes their way next. Through our personal growth and junior golf programs, we see kids’ build self confidence, inspiring more active participation in leadership opportunities and events, community involvement, and college scholarships.

Community Program

We partner with youth-serving organizations and youth centers like Boys and Girls Clubs and YMCA to provide the First Tee Community Program equipment and curriculum for use in their facilities. In addition, we also work with these and other organizations to introduce golf fundamentals through games and fun activities that are flexible for the ages and abilities of the kids involved.

What’s Provided

Our Community Program gives youth development professionals and volunteer leaders the tools to get started. Our program adapts to any setting, class time, and class size. We provide training, equipment and lesson plans. Youth leaders also have access to First Tee’s online community for additional support, resources, and connection with peers.
